Josh Flory over at Property Scope noted an article from The Tennessean about the Nashville housing market in his daily briefing today. The article says that although Nashville home sales are down, purchase prices are up:
Despite the rising inventory and falling sales, the median price of a single-family home increased 3 percent to $178,388, the fourth time in the last six months that the average home price has risen. The median price of a condo also climbed 5 percent to $160,573.I'll be interested in to see what the Knoxville Home Sale Report numbers for March say when they come out next week.
